Southern Bababerry Raspberry
Most raspberries grown in a hot climate need afternoon shade, and not having that, I have struggled for years to find a type of raspberry that will not shrivel and wilt at the first signs of real summer heat, and I haven't had a single decent berry in all that time - the heat is just too much for them. But the Southern Bababerry, which I could only find at Willis Orchards, is perfect for my hot California valley climate. It's August and the bushes are thriving and producing large qualitities of huge and tasty berries. I highly recommend this raspberry!
