After having to wood floor shop with 5 local wood floor vendors and 'negotiate' with a decorator and wife, I was 'allowed' to search for online vendors and found Hurst Hardwoods. I had also done my research with NWFA and found out that the design and structure/finish on these floors was second to none. I dealt with 'Steve' and was utterly impressed from the first call. The samples were delivered immediately and arrived as promised. After comparing these with many of the local vendor options, it was very clear that this was an extremely high quality product and the price could not be beat anywhere. I was fortunate to be able to walk on and look at other installs of these same floors in homes of varying ages and was most impressed with the durability, look, feel and overall quality of the product even in heavy traffic homes. It was far superior to many of the other well known products we had looked at that had been installed in other homes. The knowledge of the salesman, Steve, as well as the willingness to work with us, even to speak with our flooring guy, was far and above anything I have experienced from a vendor. On this month journey of convincing wife and decorator to shop with an online company, I have come to the conclusion that I cannot purchase a local product of the same quality and not even close to the same price anywhere despite doing all the due diligence to find the most bang for the buck. I will be ordering products from Hurst Hardwoods on all future projects without ANY hesitation or worry about quality of product, customer service and delivery follow through...and knowing I saved over $10,000 on a single installation!
