Select & Better 10' white oak - installed like a charm (once I figured out how to consistently 'persuade' the slightly warped ones into place !). Almost no splitting of tongues. Even with my funky kitchen counter shapes, less than 5% waste. Finished beautifully. I will try to attach a pic.

One "up North" wood flooring DIYer hint: if you don't already have it, buy and install your whole-house humidifier NOW. (Aprilaire still a quality company.) You're going to wind up doing it sooner or later.
