After researching several home and hard wood websites, finding Hurst hardwoods was a God send. THE entire PROCESS OF SHIPPING DELIVERY AND RECEIVING was WAS SIMPLY AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE BY ROB at Hurst Hardwoods!! We purchased an existing home and had flooring put in prior to moving in, then a stand still with lender caused a delay beyond our control. I called Rob and he was very courteous and promptly gave me some options about holding the materials until a later date or canceling order
He was very clear in the details. And I will add, do your homework on what happens if have to cancel order there's usually a restock fee. Plus shipping. We were able to get issue correct And move forward pretty quickly. Flooring arrived. Few damaged. Another call and he rectified problem by sending an additional case with my order just in case..no extra charge. We got a great price and installer used special smaller nails so prefinished product wouldn't pop up like what can happen if installer uses reg longer nails for solid hardwood which is thicker. Doesn't cost more . Just make sure u get someone who's experienced with prefinished wood. The color and finish was matte brownish red. SO BEAUTIFUL AND THE EXTRA WIDE PLANK IS AMAZING
TRULLY COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER COMPANY and product. Another good thing is this floor is thinner than solid so if your okay with that, just know if it gets scratched you can fill in with matching stain small or med scratches;
