July 17 - We had several storms over the spring and had severe hail damage. Neighbor across the street was getting his roof appraised and then worked on and recommended NOVA roofing - Ryan specifically. Ryan, was good up front and sold the company well and the product but support was awful. Project Manager Melvin, was disrespectful and did not follow up, schedule things properly and never communicated back with corporate or me on the process, next steps, timeline, personnel ect. They have still NOT finished the job and it's now been 6 months. I've had to call the main office 7+ times to get both Ryan and Melvin to follow back up with me. Most recently I put calls into the office and no one calls me back for weeks. I just spoke with Joanne (who is a life saver) - pay her more because she is constantly cleaning up these boy's $@!#% daily. She was kind, courteous, respectful and listened extremely well - MELVIN you should take lessons from her - LISTEN - don't speak and give excuses about why foilage, tree's, shrubs and bushes were destroyed....."It's a part of the business....that's what happens when you get your roof done......how do you do a roof without breaking something??" You manage the project the way you should - micromanage it and make sure it's done right. Joann, We still have leaking taking place by fireplace which was communicated to them 3 months ago when the roof was actually being done. We've told them we have a certified check waiting for them all they have to do is finish the job. I guess money is not a big deal for them and business is that great because, they still have collected because they still haven't finished. When dealing with these two characters Ryan and Melvin, I would be careful with Melvin and micro manage him.....he's awful and does not know what the terms - "Respect & Honesty" mean.
