Tesson Roofing and Exteriors - A Review

I can share the important characteristics of our experience with Tesson, like many reviewers, in a few descriptive phrases - which I will but if you are interested in the complete story you will need to read further.

The Short Story: Tesson is highly organized, completely competent in all areas of their services, thoughtful and responsive with the people they are providing services to. They also have an outstanding customer service relationship with customers. For my wife and I they are now our only go to choice when our home needs any exterior repairs. Recommended 100+ percent.

The Complete Story: We have lived in our home for many decades now and in that time have had the roof replaced twice before Tesson and the gutters replaced once before Tesson. The difference between those two experiences in the quality of that work compared to what we have experienced now with Tesson, in 2022, is light years different.

Our first experience back in the early 90’s was with a local company with a reputable name and history of work in our area - but the job, although affordable, was a complete disaster in retrospect. We only found this out some 15 years later when we had roof and gutter damage and had the second company do the work. Again, they were well reviewed and did a good job but the service was minimal and the amount of cleanup we had to do after they completed was ridiculous.

Now, in 2022, Tesson Work & Experience: We have just had Tesson complete the following repairs, including - (1) replacing the roof and as part of that fixing the poor workmanship of the two previous companies, (2) replace the gutters and downspouts which again were not correctly installed and because of that caused a very slow seepage of water from a place in the gutters into the inside of the roof causing water damage in a hall bathroom ceiling, (3) repairing the chimney damage due to poorly installed chimney flashing and damaged chimney crown, & (4) repair the ceiling and some wall damage in the aforementioned bathroom.

Some of the hallmarks of Tesson’s work ethic that we have never experienced before. First, for the roof and gutter portions of the work Tesson placed large tarps around the perimeter of our home in order to catch any falling debris from the work - such as roofing nails, small splinters of wood or any other items and a worker positioned in the front and back whose job was to monitor any falling items and make sure they were not left behind or got into our yard once the work was completed. Secondly, in every stage of the work - once that stage was completed - photographs were taken and sent to the job manager for inspection and an OK to continue to the next stage. Also, the job was not rushed and the timing of each part of the job was matched with the appropriate weather. Additionally, the project manager, Andy, was always available for questions and assistance via both text and phone call.

For these reasons and the high quality of the work and completed job Tesson Roofing and Exteriors is the best.
