I couldn’t be happier about my most recent experience with Environmental Heating & Air of NC Inc. It all started when my wife smelled gas leaking into our house from the furnace located in the crawlspace. We had PSNC energy come out on Monday night and he had to shut off the gas. That night I called Environmental Heating & Air of NC Inc and I was pleasantly surprised that somebody actually picked up the phone, being that it was after hours. Nick took down my message and told me he would have a technician call me in the morning. I was honestly thinking I would only be able to leave a voicemail, so I was happy that somebody actually picked up the phone. I met the technician Scott in the morning and he diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately the 20 year old furnace was cracked and that’s why it was leaking gas. I had no other choice but to replace the unit. This was very poor timing because the weather was supposed to get in the teens starting that night, and for the next 3-4 days. Scott called his sales manager John to meet me at the house and he was there in 30 minutes. This was an extra bonus because I was taking time off work and needed to get back. John inspected the unit and gave me a price quote that was much less than I was thinking. He told me that they actually had the furnace I needed at their warehouse and that he would call his team to come out and install the unit. He said that they could have it installed by the time I got home from work. I couldn’t believe my ears. Was it possible that their technician could come out, diagnose the problem. Have his sales manager come out and give me a quote in 30 minutes, and then have his team install the unit all in the same day? Yes, it was possible because that’s exactly what happened! The best part was I didn’t even have to be there when they were doing the install. I was able to go back to work and get back to business. I got home around 5:30 that night, there were no vans in my driveway and the heat was on in my house! I couldn’t believe it!
Environmental Heating & Air of NC did a fabulous job. They truly due care about their customers and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I don’t normally write reviews but this was one I had to make.
