I'm not really sure why I am reviewing the company when I did not deal with them directly. I ordered my unit from an authorized seller. I have no idea if they had the item drop-shipped directly from Phil Jones Sound or if they sent the item to me from their inventory.
This is why I only gave 3 stars for the above line-items.
Having said that, my experience with purchasing this unit from Djangobooks.com was very pleasant. The shipping was much faster than I expected (given the expected December shipping delays).
The unit (CB-4) is an excellent little cabinet. This was a second cabinet to match my existing CB-4. I found that at 8 Ohms, my bass amp couldn't quite keep up with volume needed in a live (no bass through the PA) situation. My peak light kept coming on and that worried me a bit. So, with the second cabinet, by amp is running at it's full 600 W at 4 Ohms and I have plenty of headroom.
The size and weight of the cabinets is great. the sound is excellent. I'm really happy with my purchase.
My only gripe is that I could not use my existing 1/4" speaker cable and had to purchase Speakon adapters.
