Thanks to Jason the project manager everything went as smooth as you can expect a remodel to go. He was very easy to talk to and listened to all questions without that smug additude you so often get with contractors. All the subs were excellent except the HVAC guys who were terrible. But thanks to Jason everything went off without a hitch. The finish time was very important and they met it with some time to spare. They kept the house as clean as you could expect and never wandered around the rest of the house. The only part of the experience that I was totally against was the fact that Kelly requires you to pay for his bids. He explained the reasons and I can understand them to some degree. Like in a huge custom house that may take 6 to 9 months to build. But in a small job that takes 6 weeks to finish that $500.00 you have to pay him to do the bid made me feel like he thought his time was more important than mine. With that said the best part of that bidding process was the set price. What was in the bid was the price and there was no overages. This gives you some more peace of mind for sure. Less stress! Over all ironwood custom builders are great to work with and will go the extra mile to make your project great.
