I had a very mediocre experience at The Kitchen Store. I went to them to have my kitchen remodeled and at the start they said the job would take around two weeks. Two months later they were finishing up the job, six weeks later than they said they would have. There was also a number of problems that arose throughout the process. When they were building the kitchen units they blocked in a window limiting the amount of sunlight coming into the room. I asked them to fix the blocked in window and I was met with a reply saying that it was a bad idea to do so. I said then that I was not going to pay them until they unblocked the window and it was only then that they did so. Now that the whole process is done I am happy but it was a nightmare for a long period of time. The workers who carried out the job were all fine but the boss was a different story altogether. On the first day he assured me that he would be on site every day overseeing the job but after I gave him the first check for payment I did not see him again. He was not there at all throughout the job, the second time I saw him was on the last day when he was picking up the final check. I would call him asking where he was and he would not call back; this happened three or four days in a row. He only has an eye for the payment and cared little about the satisfaction of his customers.
