This was my first time using Rubio Mechanical, and I recommend them every chance I can get because they almost saved my life! It was around Christmas eve when I woke up feeling unusually cold. I discovered that my furnace was dead. I immediately called other companies, who were all busy but told me they would eventually send somebody out. They never did. I was in panic mode because I was waiting and getting colder, so I went to my computer and found Rubio Mechanical's information in my files from when I researched HVAC companies in the past.

I am so glad I called them! Erin took the call and told me they would be sending someone out. I asked how long, and Erin told me it would be about an hour. I waited less than thirty minutes before Juan Diaz called me back and told me he was on his way. He was here within an hour after I called them. That was a good starting point. He followed all of the COVID-19 safety protocols, which was good. I showed him the furnace. He inspected it, found the problem, and realized I was going to need a new one, as this one was over thirty years old. He gave me a detailed, itemized estimate. I asked him questions and he answered them all for me. I decided to pay on the spot. He did some work to make the furnace function temporarily. He helped me keep the house warm for as long as possible until the night when it needed to be shut off. After he left Erin told me how the next day was going to unfold.

At 8:29 in the morning, two young technicians came out to begin work on my new furnace installation. They were kind, professional, and they even asked me if I had any questions! After a while, as Erin told me the day before, four more technicians came out and helped in finishing the furnace installation. What could have taken about eight hours took them four! They were all focused on their work and had a good sense of humor. I watched them, and it meant a lot to me seeing them work together. They showed me how the thermostat works, and then they were done!

Eleven days later, Juan came back and showed me the permit they got from the city. He inspected the furnace and made sure it was installed correctly. I did not know about the permit or any of that, I learned a lot in this experience! I recently spoke to Juan via email, and we talked about replacing my air conditioning unit. I consulted with him, and he wrote up an estimate proposal. We're currently deciding on when they will come out so I can sign the estimate and so they can get started.

They are an extraordinary company. I've never given such glowing feedback about a company before. They didn't have to do what they did for me on Christmas, but they did, and I feel they saved me. I have a brand new furnace thanks to them. They did exactly what they said they would. I cannot say enough good things about them!
