A fit and a lesson
I had never been fit before and only been playing golf for 2 years. I went in knowing nothing about how I hit my driver other than knowing it went about 270-280. I learned that I had an attack that was way to downward and a very out to in swing. This caused very spinny shots. I had a 110 mph club speed. I was playing a hzrdus smoke yellow 60 gram in stiff flex. Paul immediately told me that my swing weight was way too low. I was swinging a D1 and got fitted into a D6. The heavier shaft had me swinging 1.5 mph slower but I was getting 10 mph more ball speed and had an average smash factor of 1.48. The fitting was also like a lesson because he gave me pointers on how to get a more neutral path and positive attack angle. I left averaging about 297 yards with 2200-2600 spin and a much tighter dispersion. I got fit to the Rad Speed with a Diamana DF 70X shaft. I can't wait for the build to come and hit the course. If you go to greenville. Make sure to ask for Paul.
