First let's start of by saying Josh and the whole crew are very knowledgeable and friendly. I am a 16 handicap, so a weekend hack, and haven't swung a club in probably 4+ months. I worked with Josh and never felt nervous or uncomfortable and would recommend Josh and the whole club champion crew to anyone looking for a step up in clubs no matter your skill level.
One thing they do mention in the e-mails when you set up a fitting time is that you will be taking a lot of swings!!! They aren't lying. Being as I work a desk job, don't go to the gym, and haven't swung a club in 4+ months I was worn out very quickly. I would definitely recommend someone go to an indoor range and swing away a few times before going just to make sure you're ready.
The second thing I wanted to mention was price and financing. The price can vary so much!!! I swung about 5 different shafts,some "stock" and some not and the shaft I ended up hitting the best,by far, wasn't cheap so added quite a bit to the price but I am super excited and more than happy to hit these shafts for years to come based on how much of a difference they made. If I were to use a "stock" shaft the price of the clubs would have been very comparable to any big box store which was very surprising. At this time they also offer a 0% financing over 18 months that I took advantage of and helps soften the blow when you realize the difference the extra money makes.
In conclusion, I know I'm getting a very quality set up I'm excited to hit but not sure it was 100% the best being how tired I was so quickly and I told Josh the price I was trying to hit and Josh did everything to make sure we didn't go over that price. Be prepared to hit a lot of $@!#% or schedule 2 fittings to ensure you have the best set up. Also, if you tell them a price they will make sure you're not going over but this also might limit the selection. The first thing they fit is the shaft and if you don't chose stock this could limit the club head if you need to stay within a budget. I would have happily paid more if something fit me a little better but couldn't feel my arms, which goes back to scheduling two fitting sessions.
Go to these guys as it is definitely worth the money for any skill level just be prepared to make the most of your fitting!!
