Visa verification

As always the prices are great and selecting the right parts is a snap. Unfortunately Rock Auto has instituted a new verification process with Visa. Unfortunately this process did not work. I could not complete my order. I spent half an hour on hold waiting for Visa to answer so I could sort things out and got a help from a person who had an unintelligible accent. Finally I gave up and called Rockauto again. I finally completed my order with a Rockauto customer service person. If this is how I have to order from Rockauto then count me out. Rockauto has some shortcomings. Warranty, core charges 3 to 5 day delay in getting parts etc. This new order Visa Verification process tips the scales so far against Rockauto I may never order anything again.

We are sorry that this reviewer was unable to complete the Visa Verification process, and we hope he will give it another try. We recently began using the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode services, which are provided collectively by Visa/MasterCard, a card-issuing bank, and RockAuto. Customers who are enrolled in the service can be assured that their card will not be used at a participating online merchant without their permission.

If enrolled in the service, you will be prompted to enter your password. If you are not enrolled, the message will ask you if you would like to activate the service. You may always "Activate Later" and your order will still process normally--the service is optional. Customers who do not see an "Activate Later" option are almost always enrolled in the service through their bank, even if they do not realize it. In that case we recommend following the on-screen prompts to recover your password. Your card-issuing bank can generally be of assistance if you need it.
