Was't happy with customer service

First of all, I believed the description about an A/C compressor. It said, filled with oil and ready to install, shame on me. Compressor came with tape stating, filled with 6.75oz. of oil. My system holds 9oz., so I filled the new acumulator with 2.25 oz. After flushing system,installing new orifce tube and o-rings. Evacuated system and started to charge, this is the bad part, the compessor seized up. Was this my fault? Called customer service to see. Not helpful at all to say the least, rep didn't even say sorry, but couldn't do anything for me. I bought another compressor at local parts store. At least now I can talk face to face with somebody if there is a problem.

We offer Repair Manuals under the Literature category in our catalog and installation instructions appear on the "Info" page for some parts. Some parts are shipped with enough oil to ensure safe shipment, but do require additional oil upon receipt. We offered to explore warranty replacement through the manufacturer, but since the manufacturer requires proof (like a receipt) that an A/C system flush was performed and the customer could not provide it this was unfortunately not covered under warranty.
