Customer Service is Lacking

Rock Auto has good prices on parts, but beware that a lot of their parts are the cheap Chinese-made kind, and don't fit or work well. Just beware and try to order brand names when you can. My real issue is with customer service, your wrong and they are right no matter what. I had a dispute over a shipping charge, even though I was following directions that were emailed to me, they would not credit my shipping. I am always suspicious of a company that has no phone number listed on their website. You can't call, just have to go back and forth with email. Customer service is bad.

We're not sure what this customer is referring to regarding fitment, since he has never returned a part due to a fitment problem. We offer a wide variety parts (from economy line to brand name) in a range of prices that are covered by manufacturers' warranties. All contact information, including our phone number, is listed on our About Us page on our site.

This customer needed to warranty a part. We offered him 2 warranty replacement options (return the part for reshipment, OR place a new order and then return the old part for a refund on the new order). He chose to return the part for reshipment. We reshipped the part as requested, but then the customer placed another order for the same part he asked to have reshipped. We're not sure why he did this, but since he doesn't need two of the same part he can return the extra within 30 days for a refund. We do ask that he pay to return the extra part he ordered since we didn't make a mistake by sending him what he ordered.
