Discount review

Well I ordered about 900 us funds of products. I forgot to enter the 5% discount. I questioned free shipping. I have not heard back as of to Date.

We're sorry this customer forgot to enter his discount code when he placed his order. A discount code can be applied to an order after it's submitted by entering the code through our Order Status & Returns page. Once any part of an order ships, we are no longer able to make changes to it. This customer contacted our customer service team by email (service@rockauto.com) and we replied to him with this information within an hour of his message. Our customer service team is available by email 7 days a week and normally responds within a few hours or less.

Shipping is never free. Shipping costs vary widely depending on what you buy and where you are. "Free shipping” means an online store must charge everyone higher prices just to offset the cost of shipping bulky parts to a few customers in exotic locations.

Shipping carriers must be paid for their work. We think it makes more sense to set part prices low and allow customers to see the actual cost of the shipping decisions that they make. To minimize shipping costs, customers can choose parts that can ship from the same location.
