Used to be great

I can't even get parts shipped to my home or business address anymore due to "local tax reasons". If you are an internet based business that can't ship products because accounting is flummoxed by tax laws then you will soon be an "out of business" internet parts company. Also, you can't even call them anymore - they don't do telephone. You don't even get the little magnets anymore. Fire the accountant/lawyer idiot you got in charge and get back to business.

In response to the Supreme Court decision (South Dakota v. Wayfair), Colorado now requires online retailers, like RockAuto, to collect sales tax on orders shipped to that state. The state of Colorado forbids us to ship orders to some cities (but not all) because we do not have enough accountants to comply with their complicated tax rules. This is true even for tax exempt orders because we would still have to navigate each city's unique exemption laws and tax return process.

However, we can still ship orders to any Colorado city that relies on the state to collect its sales tax. Cities that we can ship to are listed on the state website.
