Customer Service
Customer service is where you can tell what kind of company Rock Auto is. After all, they are selling parts you can buy many other places. As a repair business owner, there are two things that make Rock Auto stand out. A flat out great catalog system and customer service. I place about 75 orders a year with Rock Auto. So over the last 4 years about 300 orders. I have had issues with 2 orders, less than 1%. Most recently, I ordered 2 brake rotors along with other parts. The inner box was ripped apart and only one rotor was shipped, damaged. I thought, "oh here we go, I am going to have to eat this one". Not the case. I sent pics to customer of exactly what the shipment looked like when received, what was missing and what I thought happened. In less than 1 day, replacement parts were shipped and a return label was e-mailed. Couldn't have been easier. Had replacement parts in the shop in 3 days. Whenever my customers can wait a few days for parts, I use Rock Auto to save them 25% or more on their parts cost. Keep up the great service.
