Involved in Fraud by using your CC without authorization
Im posting an exact experience that happened to me yesterday, this is a copy past from another review but its step by step same thing that happened to me. After the so called verification, that didnt work and my bank said rockauto didnt show up to request charge, ...but a whole new place somewhere else tried to use the card right after but got my security code wrong. "*******When using a MasterCard to pay for an order and after submitting the checkout order, another page popped up stating that my bank that issued the credit card required additional information before the order could be processed. This additional information was all of the information previously given plus my date of birth and the last four of my social security number (items used by the bank to confirm my identity). I called the bank and found out that they did not request that information, nor did they receive any request to charge my card coming from Rock Auto nor any other source AND that they did not (nor had they) declined any purchase or request to charge my account. The MasterCard rep said to try again and then fill it out the additional information to see what would happen. I did. After providing the information and hitting the proceed button, I received a red lettered statement on the top of my order/checkout form that stated that my bank had declined to authorize the purchase. According to the MasterCard rep I had on the phone (who was monitoring my account), NO request for authorization was ever received from Rock Auto nor had any been declined. We waited for a few more minutes to see if any request would come in, but none came, so he instructed me to phone Rock Auto. Rock Auto does not have any toll free numbers."********
I will never order from them again. And I will do my best to tell others not to order from them either. Im not going to post my order number because I dont need them to retaliate against me as they have done to others.
