Wrong order & received partial credit

Odered side mirrors and appeared to have been used. I took them to local dealer and had them installed. Dealer conveyed wrong part and didn't function as they should. Called and spoke with customer service rep, and explained situation. Two more phone calls later arrangements were made to send back with clause will need to be inspected before reimbursement. Sent mirrors and all original packaging back to RockAuto. A week later received email for partial reimbursement. Called customer service and the rep claimed mirror was damaged & not reusable. Awaiting callback from customer service rep with images from warehouse. What a ripoff on a product that was supplied and returned in the same manner over $180 mirrors. Can't wait to be done!

We are sorry this customer received parts that would not fit his vehicle. When he contacted us to let us know the mirrors would not fit, we set up a return for him and provided a free FedEx label for him to return the parts. When our warehouse received the right-hand mirror, the returns department informed us it was returned damaged. According to the returns department, it looks like someone tried to remove the cover and scratched the cover and the face frame of the right-hand mirror.

When we informed the customer of this damage, he requested that we email him images of the damage and send the part back to him, so he could take this issue up with the dealer, since had his local dealer attempt to install the mirrors. We emailed him said images and shipped the part back to him. According to the FedEx tracking for the shipment, he received the damaged mirror on Saturday, May 18. We hope he can work out the damage issue with his dealer and that he will give us a try again in the future, given our quick response to his original problem -- the mirrors not fitting.
