credit card issues
Had I not already invested more than two hours TRYING to place an online order and pay with a credit card - I would give my business to another company. After entering my credit card information, a window appeared asking for my VISA verification information and stating that if there was a problem, to contact the issuing bank.
Predictably, there was a problem - what stupid thing is this? So I have to interrupt my order (and reduced it to just ONE item because it's just not a good, efficient procedure) and call Capital One. After two attempts, I learn that VISA verification has not been used for a long time because of chip technology. I tried to explain this to your customer service guy, but he could only repeat one or two non-sensical statements and may have possibly been a robot. So on the advice of Capital One, I used my credit card vis-a-vis PAYPAL, and that involved the whole open an account process.
The entire experience was a nightmare. Your customer service person was inept and your website is not up-to-date as regards using credit or debit cards. Big ol' waste of time and no customer loyalty here. Also, I do not appreciate businesses that hide behind layers and layers of call screening devices. What's so wrong with talking to the people you take money from?
