The service technician Kevin who came to my residence was courteous and professional. He explained what he could and could not do under the particular circumstances to clean my dryer vent for the quoted price. He told me he would write an estimate for completing the job correctly when he returned to the office.

I have not received an email as promised with an estimate of the work required to finish the job properly as of the time I am writing this review.

Sadly, the quote for the work I requested was incorrect. I was told a minimum fee of $125 was required, but simply cleaning the vent pipe was $82.

After Kevin cleaned 3/4's of the vent pipe that he could reach and explained the limitations of what he could accomplish that day, he told me the charge was actually $175.

He called in to confirm and was told that was the price regardless of what I was quoted. So I paid $50 more than the minimum to have the job I requested left done incompletely.

Obviously this will leave a consumer with a negative impression, however this is not a reflection of incompetence by the technician who showed up to do the work.

This is a fail by the company for giving an incorrect quote for services that could not be completed satisfactorily and for not having the character or customer service integrity to honor a verbal quote for services given over the phone.
