We are very disappointed with the experience we had with Cardinal Clean. Our house suffered flood damage and we called Cardinal Clean for the cleanup. They were supposed to box up household items, inventory them, and place them in portable storage units before cleaning the house. At first, we were quite pleased with the job they did. Upon completion, they were supposed to put things back in the house where they originally found them. This was when things started going wrong. I discovered many things missing. I also discovered important documents discarded in trash bags in the garage. My passport ended up in one of those trash bags. I still haven't found my high school yearbook. And a brand-new sleep apnea machine is missing. These are just a few of the things I know about. I live with my elderly mother and I wanted to trust the people from Cardinal Clean in my home. So, I didn't make my own inventory before they started working. After discovering so many missing and misplaced items, I called the owner, Mark, about the issue. He didn't take responsibility for any wrongdoing, assuring me that all his employees had undergone background checks. He didn't honor my request for his copy of the inventory. I am very disappointed with the way we were handled by Cardinal Clean. I cannot recommend them.
