This is the second year I’ve had ecotreeNW come to my home to prune trees. The first time (2021) was to have them try to fix the abortion the Seattle City Light pruners had done to my huge red maple. ecotreeNW did a great job of making it look better, but weren’t able to completely prune everything back without hurting the tree. This year (2022) I had the company come back to prune a very old apple tree and magnolia in my back yard, three Japanese plum trees in the front and additional work on the red maple. After the crew had finished and left, I was looking at the trees and felt enough limbs had not been removed from the various trees. Within three days, the crew returned and the lead certified arborist explained more fully to me, using printed examples, why they had pruned the trees as they had. It seems the last company that had pruned my trees did a very poor job which resulted in the overgrowth that had occurred. It’s apparently going to take a couple/few years to remedy the original poor pruning work. But, that’s okay because I want my trees to look beautiful and be healthy. I would wholeheartedly recommend ecotreeNW for any kind of tree work you require…they take down huge trees as well because they’ve done three for my son.
