The Heating Specialist installed a new HVAC system for me and it has been within the last year. I had remodeled my basement and the old system was located in the basement so this was a big job of moving it to the attic which required reversing the air flow and a lot of other things they had to do. Everything went went great with that except I do feel like the size of the unit should have been bigger based on the size of my house. One other issue I had was that no electric outlet was available for it in the attic so they bypassed that and got it working with just a flip of a light switch. They told me that I needed to call an electrician to have an outlet installed that would be for the HVAC system. I just think that should have been part of the whole installation.

On this recent visit I called them out on a weekend, which I appreciate their ability to do so, to fix my furnace that my pool is heated by. I was looking over the technicians shoulder and witnessed him cleaning the igniter and while doing so it broke. He bypassed that as well and when you shut the furnace off you have to of course go out and light it without using the switch. He called me a couple of days later and let me know all the parts that I needed and how much it would cost me to fix it. I went ahead and ordered the parts myself and took the twenty minutes to fix it myself.

Overall I think The Heating Specialist are fine and I really do not have a problem with them and their customer service is pretty good and consistent. They did do a nice job of replacing the HVAC unit and overall I would give them a solid four-star rating for the services they did provide.
