I am 6'3 and have hit ill-fitted stock clubs for the past 15 years, struggling for consistency. I was resigned to thinking that I was just not naturally a good golfer, though I've always loved the game and tried to get better. Over the course of the year I heard more and more people speak of getting fitted clubs. I did some research, went to Dick's Sporting Goods and that visit did not instill confidence in their fitting process. The next day I read about Club Champion and the new Cincinnati location and immediately booked a fitting. The fitting ended up being one of the coolest experiences a golfer can have. I went in thinking that I needed a half inch to an inch extension on my irons because of my height but after trying multiple shaft lenght and weight combinations with different brand heads, we found that I did not need extensions, but standard length weighted stiff shafts with just the lie of the club head adjusted slightly for my height. I was also impressed that Jeff recommended that I not change a couple of my clubs, just the shaft on my driver, keeping my driver head, and keeping my 60 degree wedge, saving me money. Overall this was an amazing experience and I am excited and confident that these clubs will help me play the way I've always wanted to. Thank you Jeff Sikute and Club Champion Cincinnati!
