I was involved in an automobile accident, and as a result, I needed to have a chairlift installed. I felt more comfortable dealing with them since they were a bona fide medical equipment supplier. They had to deal with installing the chairlift, and servicing and maintaining it. And, they could more easily comply with a doctor's prescription. E J Stairlifts & Medical Supply came out and took pictures of my home, and the stairwell - and then they worked with the insurance adjuster to get the purchase approved.
