Set up initial driver fitting with Trey in OKC a few weeks ago. I was looking for an improvement over the stock hzrdus smoke in my cobra f9.

Unfortunately for Trey, I developed a case of the high heel hits and spin rates were through the roof (6-7K). Trey spend an extra 45 minutes working with me and we did find a shaft that definitely improved my smash factor, ballspeed, and spin rate. However, given the situation we set up to do a refit.

I did my refit last Friday late afternoon. Much more consistent swing. Trey fit me into a shaft (diamana df 60) that improved everything- swingspeed, ball speed, smash factor, etc. Average carry/total distance was minimum 17 yrds better with similar dispersion. We checked it a couple times by switching back to my shaft or another similar shaft for several swing then picking up the dismans again. Results were the same. My averages with the diamana were better than my single best swing with my stock shaft.

In addition to finding a shaft that is clearly better fit to my swing characteristics, the trackman data was invaluable. I have started to use it to make improvements to my attack angle and club path.
