First,we did not pick this company, our real estate agent did. We should have gotten estimates from different companies and made the decision ourselves. The company representative did not ask us how we wanted it installed and Where we wanted it installed. She just said it is being installed here. The pipes and fan ,are right next to our bathroom window which we use for ventilation. It is loud, and very annoying on our nearby deck. Also, In the small print which we did not notice, the electrical was NOT included! For $ 2150 you would think it was. We did not have a chance to pick the electric company and get a bid. Alpine did,and picked the most expensive electrician in town! The radon test Alpine did was 10 feet from the unit , and it “passed “. We would like to do an independent test further away from the unit , and see the results ourselves. There is no on and off switch , and to turn it off we have to unplug a hanging cord outside.
The workers were very nice and professional,
but for the above reasons this company is not recommended.
