I haven't purchased irons in over 25 years. So I didn't want to make the investment for new irons without being sure it was going to help my game. The feedback I received during my fitting was pretty enlightening. It was amazing to me how much of a difference the newer technology made in distance related to my older clubs. I have a brand new driver so I did do a full bag fitting in order to have it setup best for my swing. Also to be sure that the shaft it came with was a good shaft for me. Our fitter Jim was very knowledgeable about the different shafts and heads we tested as well as using the launch monitor and related equipment. Overall I was very satisfied with the fitting.
