I went to Club Champion and had a set of irons fitted about a year and a half ago. The irons work great, but since then I've been struggling with hitting a driver. Sometimes I bomb it, (290+ yds at 63 years old), and sometimes 200 out, and 100 either left or right...) It gets in your head, and you start trying to guide the ball. That's never a good thing. I didn't think that there was much that could help. Well, (again), I was wrong. The trackman doesn't lie.

Seems that my drivers, (yes, I got drivers like others have putters) are all too heavy. If my timing isn't perfect, I'm in trouble.

Well we found that using a 55gm shaft, and a lighter swingweight makes a big difference for me.

So I'm waiting for them to build my new driver. Epic flash 9.0 with a 55gm Fujikura Speeder V stiff shaft.

My only complaint is they are expensive. The fitting is reasonable, but pricing on the components is "premium". It's costing about $100 more for the head, and the shaft, than I could buy them for online. But I knew that going in, and to me, it's well worth the money.
