I went to Club champion to get fitted for a 3 wood and 3 hybrid. When, we began with me hitting my driver,I expected that Mike Kohn, the fitter would be telling me my 2015 driver fitting had been fine at the time but to get more distance and accuracy, I would need a new driver. After hitting three or four other driver heads and shafts, he determined that he might be able to get 3 yards more out of a new driver, but would it be worth the new cost. I appreciated that.

We then moved onto the 3 wood and the 3 hybrid. Honestly, the whole experience was so much fun. Finally, most people do not realize how much the golf shaft makes a difference in how the golf course responds.Premium golf shafts will cost the same amount as the head of the club. Please remember this as the process unfolds, because the final cost of the club is very dependent on the shaft costs, which is not what you are going to see in ads from retailers or even in reviews. I hope people do not go to get fitted because they do not want to spend the extra dollars for premium, fitted to you, and not stock shafts. if you play 35 rounds per year( like me) and you get fitted every 3 years- your cost per your properly fitted, high end shaft over that time is under $2.00 per round. Well worth the chance to shave strokes from the game you love.
