I'm 60+ years old, using my favorite forged irons with S300 shafts and can't get the distance or control that I used to have. I was more than surprised and overwhelmed when I learned about the Club Champion fitting process. The golf data nerd in me got excited and I booked time asap.
What seemed like a lot of time turned out to be perfectly right in the hands of Master Fitter, Kit Mungo. He calmly welcomed me to their state of the art facility near Los Angeles, took a look at my bag, asked me about my game and then got to work watching my swing data through TrackMan and my 6 iron. I'm fit, strong, in great shape but it turns out that we lose about 1 MPH every year after 40 and I couldn't get my current power to work my shafts and club heads to optimum performance.
We tried a dozen iron heads, as many shafts as Kit worked toward increasing my swing speed, smash factor, launch angle and total distance. It was crazy to watch my performance result in better numbers as Kit got me back to my carry, roll and distance numbers that I "used to have." We moved onto drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, wedges all along dialing in lie, swing weight and grip preferences.
When it was done, Kit had engineered the perfect bag for me each head matched with the best shaft and every club dialed in for optimum lie and weight.
