Sound By Design

The scope was to install speakers on a pre-wired home. Communication and feedback was great. Installation was done promptly. The issue I have is that installation pre-checks were not done., installation almost seemed like it was a race to finish. Our house has the speakers pre-wired, and the front speaker entry boxes were 1/2” off height wise from one another. This could have been checked prior to cutting out the hole on both speakers and adjusted. The speakers were installed and I was not even told they were off 1/2”. I noticed it shortly after and I was told there was nothing that could be done. If this was on a normal wall I wouldn’t have an issue since it would be harder to notice, but this was done on a shiplap accent wall were the shiplap lines make it evident they are not in line. This is a clear oversight . I’m disappointed on this aspect since we done that wall perfectly until the speakers were installed.
