We recently had to have a fan motor replaced on our HVAC unit. Prior to the replacement was a diagnostic visit which at such time I asked for and received ma verbal quote as to the cost of such replacement. After the replacement was made by a tech, other than the tech who provided the expected cost, the installing tech gave me a bill significantly higher than the quote. I refused to pay that figure until I had opportunity to discuss this with the Ellsworth office, not that I was unwilling to pay.
