Poor experience - I would not recommend
After doing the research one is supposed to do before hiring a contractor, I came to the opinion that Overson Roofing was a high quality, high touch organization with prices that are competitive if not slightly higher than average. I received bids from 3 companies with Overson Roofing modestly higher than the others. The customer service received from their estimator, Joey W., was also above average. Seeking a good experience I was willing to pay the premium and signed the contract with Overson. The ‘good experience’ ended there. Multiple delays (some caused by weather), lack of follow-up/communication/ownership, and two return trips (thus far) to fix their repairs mark the remainder of my experience. The job was modest, replacing a 20’ asphalt roof and fixing a small leak on the main roof, yet the contract was signed over 2 months ago and they were on my roof again this morning.
The issues I had I feel could have been avoided; 1) complete the job right the first time, 2) issues can/do arise so ensure same day/next day follow-up to address any issues. 3) Employees should take ownership of problems and see them to resolution.
Every employee I spoke with, 7 in all, was courteous. I’d like to commend Overson employee Gabriel for being the one employee I felt took ownership of the repairs.
I would not recommend Overson Roofing at this time.
