Broken pipe resulting in damage, broken arm resulting in lack of upkeep with my routine tidying and cleaning...that's been my life amidst COVID these last few weeks...I can't even open the toilet bowl cleaner! It's not been a problem, however, because when my DMM team comes to clean, they fill in where I can't. They go to work, doing their regular duties and added the things that I haven't been able to get to.
During the repairs, they were extremely flexible each time they came--while the plumber fixed pipes, the contractors replaced baseboards and dry wall, and the painters made things pretty again. My team, led by Norma, worked around whatever unusual circumstances they encountered and made a difficult job look easy--and trust me; it wasn't!
This week we're doing catch up...the team is cleaning those grungy tiles in the shower that my hand still can't manage. Amidst the chaos, my team has been the one thing that's been consistent and it's calming to know that I can depend on them when I can't yet depend 100% on myself.
