The system does what it's supposed to do. I notice my hair is softer with the soft water. The jasmine rice that I cook tastes better cooked in the soft water. There is no bad aftertaste when drinking the water from the system. My son's eczema has improved with the soft water which is wonderful. The clothes are softer from the washing machine with the soft water. The dishes don't have hard water stains anymore.
