I have used Effective Air in the past. I discontinued using them for awhile and then decided that I would give them another try. I have a service agreement with them. My air conditioner had stopped working and I called them to schedule an appointment. I could not believe the customer service representative on the other end of the phone. I felt as though I was training her to be a customer service representative. The scheduling for the technician to come out was absolutely ludicrous. I could not see taking off work for a window of time that spread to four or more hours! That's insane! This person obviously had no customer service skills at all. It almost got to the point where I didn't know if I was working for them or they were working for me. The service technician did arrive and had the AC fixed in a matter of two minutes. I recently received the bill which I will be calling them about because I am on a service contract and the bill is nearly $200.00! I do give the service technician a five star rating because he was phenomenal. The other aspects of this call from customer service, scheduling to billing is a total zero! I regret ever going back to this business!
