My session with Nick Fusco was everything I hoped it would be. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He has a genuine desire to help you improve your game.
Nick detailed the entire session to me in such a technical manner that I was able to completely understand why my current clubs were performing the way they were and why the results I was seeing with the newer clubs was superb. As Nick explained, the shaft is the engine to which my entire club selection is built. We focused for a while on getting the right shaft combination, so that once we maneuvered to the heads, everything fell into place. I was amazed at the dispersion change with my irons. Once we aligned on the correct shaft and grip, I landed on the tight pattern I was able to achieve with the Ping i210's. Then, with a couple of more adjustment, that tight pattern resulted in an extra 10 yards without any change in accuracy.
That same approach was used with my wedges (Cleveland Zip-Core), 3 wood (Ping G425). The results were outstanding.
I have a new Cobra Driver, but due to the swing weight of the shaft, I was having difficulty feeling the head during my swing. This led to inconsistent shots. Nick was able to change the shaft and swing weight that resulted in straighter and longer shots. Plus, I'm able to feel the driver head during the swing which gives me confidence to control my shots. The results were keeping the same Driver Head, but getting a newer shaft fit for my swing.
Then we moved over to my #1 priority of the day, consistent putting. The session was everything I expected. The putting analysis was able to pinpoint the issues with my setup and alignment. Cutting 1.5 inches off the shaft, adding some weight to the head, small bend in the shaft and minor change to the grip....I may never miss a putt again. The changes left me confident to being able to achieve a consistent stroke.
I will be bragging about this session with my friends. I truly recommend anyone with a passion for the game like I have, to get a full bag review session. There is no obligation to purchase any club from the professionals like Nick. But trust me, when you see the results, it will be tough not to want to better your game.
