Another Perfect Fitting due to Back Injury and little aging.
This is my 2nd fitting with Club Champion in the past 3 years. A little while after my first fitting, I had an old military back injury come back. I continued playing golf trying different ways to play without aggravating the injury. Finally the last half of 2020, I had to take a few months off to get my back in order, so after my recovery, Jan 2021, I decided to take my previous irons that were fitted to me 3 years ago to the newer Club Champion shop closer to my home in Buford GA. After hitting my older Ping i500’s and getting my base down; Wilson Gilliland at the Buford Ga store showed me how the older Ping’s were still dialed in even after 3 years, (great job on my 1st fitting at Club Champion) however, with a little more age on me and newer technology out there we finally settled on a new set of Mizuno JPX921 forged irons with Nippon shafts (the previous shafts I played were the steel fiber-loved them) He used the almost exact specs from my previous fitting, which were still very close to now, but THE NEWER TECHNOLOGY has me 12 yards further with a much tighter dispersion on the track man vs the i500’s. I am almost 4 years older, have a lingering back injury, and still hitting it further with another professional fitting with club champion. I AM TELLING YOU, THEIR PROCESS WORKS!!!!
