I have been fit before with very knowledgeable fitters with great reputations and ended up with clubs no where as good for me as Club Champion provided. First, unless you are up to many swings with your current driver in order to establish a base line and then start making adjustments, and I was not, get on a track man before you go and supply the fitter with baseline data. I learned this from a previous fitting and the process worked. M ark, my fitter in Cherry Hill was excellent at interpreting the data and getting right to work on finding where the driver could be improved. I won’t know for a while if my distance has improved, but my accuracy has clearly improved in this area. It was what I was expecting so I am more than happy. Hybrid fittings are a little less strenuous because the hybrid shaft is more akin to the driver shaft. What surprised me was how much difference the head made. Trust the data. This was my third fitting. Last year all new irons and they are perfect. This process, and I have tried a few over the last few years, is the only one that clearly presents all of the options. I also appreciated knowing the difference in price between various shafts where there was little difference in the results. Golf is, in part, a mind game so knowing that the data gives you the best result you can expect, removes existing element and builds confidence. Highly recommended.
