Disappointing. Felt like the attention was in the wrong place and was upsold.
Went in for a full bag fitting, which is probably overly ambitious to try to handle in one visit. Started with irons, tried a number of different shafts and heads and was ultimately given a recommendation to upgrade the shafts on on existing irons at approx $100 a pop. Went back to hitting my irons before committing and the results were better. Next hit 3 wood and was convinced to buy a 3 wood with a shaft that had an insane upcharge. In hindsight, I should have spent a lot more time demoing other, cheaper, shafts to see if the results were actually different. I felt like my fitter defaulted to a very expensive option without even considering if a cheaper alternative might have been a better fit. Overall I walked away pretty disappointed and with a feeling like I wasted some serious $$. I should say the fitter was very nice and this is nothing against him personally..
