Greg Milligan took incredible care of me during my fitting and I look forward to my next visit to Club Champion!

This place is awesome and if you're looking to get new clubs to fit you, this is definitely the place to go. I was taken care of incredibly well here and will definitely use their services again in the future.

I worked with Greg Milligan for my full bag fitting on 12/24/2020. To preface, I play around a low double digit handicap (10-12) and my current clubs are anywhere from 5-10 years old. These clubs were ones that I had been using since high school and now am in graduate school, so I knew it was time to get new clubs.

Greg was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the fitting process, explaining every little detail that the numbers showed and was also patient when I had some mishits. I told him at the start of the fitting what my struggles were and what I was looking for with new clubs: less spin on my lower irons/wedges, and a bit more distance with my longer clubs. I told him that while I had "biases" towards certain brands, I would let the numbers do all the talking since at the end of the day, the Trackman numbers don't lie.

We started with the standard 6i, and Greg immediately could tell I was playing with shafts far too light for my adult swing, as well as having a steep angle of attack that meant adding bounce to my irons. The bounce immediately helped my contact and got me to hitting straighter, more consistent shots. We came in at Titleist T300 OEM irons from 4i - 48 degree. During the fitting, I went from averaging 165 carry to 180-190 carry, so an incredible 20 yard increase (and straighter too).

We did a quick wedge fitting since he had already diagnosed my wedge problem through the bounce issue, and landed on Titleist Vokey SM8 wedges with 12 degrees of bounce. Instantly gained about 10 yards on the wedges just through the change in bounce since I was no longer digging into the ground and could hit the sweet spot. Because the irons went all the way down to 48 degrees, we also swapped my 52/56/64 wedges with 54/58 to maintain the 14 clubs.

The putter fitting was next and there were far too many factors that I never knew about. He analyzed my putter swing and even gave me a brief lesson to help fix my stroke. We landed on a Bettinardi square putter.

Finally, he took a look at the top of my bag, and once again knew that I needed stiff shafts to help my consistency and swing. We allowed me to take a break in between, realizing I was nearly 2 hours in and getting quite fatigued, so we went to look at grips while I rested. After, we settled on the Callaway driver and 3-wood, both adding incredible distance and consistency compared to my old clubs. (3-wood went from a low, inconsistent 210 shot to a powerful, straight 225 carry 250 total shot).

We've setup another time when the clubs come in to make sure they fit well and to also figure out the 14th club in the bag since I'm missing either a 5-wood or hybrid to slot in at the top end. The total price was a little less than $3500 for the full bag, cheaper than I expected and got the 50% discount on the fitting for making a purchase over $500.
