This wasn’t my first custom fitting but was my first at Club Champion and for irons/shafts and I couldn’t be happier. Joe was fantastic and an overall cool guy and he knew his stuff.
We established my baseline and then went to work on a better iron shaft for me and had it not been for the numbers, I would have never believed that I would have performed as well as I did with the shafts he selected. I am a 6hcp guy in his 30s who swings it pretty good and I am not kidding that with a shaft change we got 20 yards...of carry! Same head as I’m playing right now, nothing but a shaft change. And not some juiced up roll numbers either. I honestly didn’t think there would be 20 yards out there for me to find, I have heard those claims but thought they were reserved for people with awful slices. I am amazed, and now need to get used to 200 yard 6 irons! Highly recommend their work!!
