Excellent staff, great facility, good service
Joe Guerrero fitted me at the beginning of the summer it was an awesome experience. We did the whole bag , he liked my irons and wedges but felt I should consider different woods.
He suggested a Taylormade M4 driver, 3M4 wood and Callaway Rogue hybrid! Coupled all three with 55 gram shafts. It took about three rounds before I got comfortable with my new clubs. I picked up 15 yards with the driver and 3 wood. The Rogue with it’s “jail break “ technology gave me 35 additional yards! So I was real happy with my initial experience at Club Champion. As I was walking out the door Joe, suggested I try out the Bettinardi putter as a replacement for my Cleveland Huntington Collection blade. Joe noticed that I burn the edges a lot when I putt and thought the Bettinardi might help. It did but since I had already ordered three clubs how much improvement can one golfer stand? I told Joe I would consider the Bettinardi for a future purchase. I held out for 110 days but today I came back and purchased that beauty with it’s yellow pistol grip! Call me superficial but I like pretty things and the Bettinardi is a beauty.
So in summary the fitters at Club Champion are a talented group who enjoy their work. The cost is not cheap but considering I have 36 clubs in my garage from the big box stores it’s a pretty good value. Besides for a recreational golfer breaking a 100, 90, 80 is the holy grail and Club Champion and proper golf instruction will get you there!
