I was there for a hybrid and putter fitting. Nelson took the time to watch my warm-ups, discuss my game and explain the numbers for all of the club and shaft combinations we were trying. There was no attempt to “make a sale.” After explaining descent angles and spin, we made the decision that my current 7 wood would work better for my game than any of the hybrid options.

The putter fitting was more dramatic. The computer program makes recommendations as to head type and specs but the displays of path, rotation, effective loft and contact point really illustrated how my current putter was mismatched for my build and stroke. Taking into account my personal preferences as well, Nelson put together a package of a PXG Operator with a Stability shaft and counter weighted Superstroke grip.

I have had my clubs fitted for the last 15 years. Gains in performance now are incremental. I have complete trust that Club Champion was looking out for my game’s best interests more than just tryin to sell me new clubs and I highly recommend Nelson and Club Champion.
