My clubs are 11 years old so it was time for an upgrade and I knew going in getting better numbers wouldn’t be hard. Joseph Lockamy was my fitter and was really awesome. The iron fitting went well and I got drastic number improvement. Now I didn’t have my Driver or FE wood swing during fitting and never hit what I thought was a good swing with either club so I elected not to commit to either club. The wedge fitting was quick and easy as we just needed to gap degrees based off PW loft and then get a feel for bounce and grind. We then went to the putter fitting using the SIM which I was familiar with. We were a little short on time by this point but it was a great learning experience learning about putter path, toe hang, lie, loft, etc.
I’m excited about my iron (went from Mizuno MP-53 to Srixon ZX7), wedges (went with Callaway MD5 Jaws) and putter (Seemore to Scotty Phantom X 12.5). I’ve already scheduled another fitting to try for a driver and FW wood again.
My only complaint would be the cost for the shafts and grips to be put on whatever head you want. They charged me $75 a shaft X 11 shafts and installation (they apparently guarantee the same exact specs of shaft you swung). I later looked on Srixon website and custom shafts in same head would have cost me a flat $165.
Overall a good experience just frustrating that my driver swing was off and I couldn’t get it all in on the same day since they’re predicting a 5 week turn around before I have clubs in hand.
