My husband and I were totally amazed by the plumber’s rude, arrogant, and condescending attitude! He did the minimum amount of work necessary to fix our plumbing issue and then told us we needed a new pressure regulator for $500+ since the one we had could not be “tweaked”! He also did not tell us that we could have the option of having cold water while I shopped for a new kitchen water faucet! So, he left us with no water in the kitchen sink! As soon as he left, my husband “tweaked” the pressure regulator and got us access to cold water! I provided feedback to John (who scheduled this plumber) and I did feel as if I was being “heard”! He explained to me that they are not allowed to “tweak” pressure regulators more than 6 months old and that due to potential liability they are not allowed to do anything to give us access to cold water since we had a reverse osmosis system. If this arrogant plumber had explained such to us, I would have understood! Due to above, we will not be using Black Mountain Plumbing again! In addition, we felt that the charge was extremely high although I was aware of the charge when I made the appointment! But, I will give John credit for providing very good customer service and who welcomed my feedback!
